Rasmus Guttormsen
I began working here as an intern while pursuing my master's degree in mechanical engineering, seizing an opportunity that opened up which lead me to become a Project Engineer.
Project Engineer
I am part of the applied technology business group, engaging in diverse tasks that involve addressing new and intriguing technological challenges. These challenges require new thinking, the utilization of existing technology, or a combination of both. Clients often present us with their problems, seeking our expertise to solve them independently or in collaboration with them. It can be new products, or optimizing an existing solution that requires engineering.
One day, I might be immersed in CAD modeling and creating drawings. While the next, I could be on the production floor, overseeing the manufacturing process. Being involved in the entire product development cycle, from conceptualization and prototyping to the actual production, provides valuable practical insights. This hands-on approach allows me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the engineering process and learn about the feasibility of ideas generated during computer-based design sessions.
